Ninjas in the studio!
In the studio now! It’s beautiful up here in this Malibu spot. We’re right on the edge of a mountain and there is an amazing view of the valley and the ocean. Super sexy. Indo and Outdo have been here during the week and today we laid down tracks from Ninjamamalickum, Tai Kwan Dan, Shogun and yours truly. It’s sounding great and will sound even better when everything is done.
Cons of the day: Slightly scary drive up the mountain due to steep cliffs that could potentially lead to severe damage (unless you’re a ninja of course). Carrying gear down crazy flights of stairs that are uneven in height and surface (luckily our levitation skills helped us out). The outhouse style restroom had a glass door (thank goodness us ninjas are invisible…plus if you DID see us you wouldn’t live to tell the tale).
Pros of the day: The view! Ninja’s hanging out together. Trudging up and down stairs has sufficed as our daily exercise. The view while on the toilet was great and made us really feel close to nature…where ninjas are born. Taking another step to completing another album!
